We start with a 1-on-1 session to assess your goals, challenges, and motivation. This is a chance for both of us to ask questions, align expectations, and ensure you’re ready to do the work. We work with athletes who are committed to growth — this session sets the tone.

This is your entry point into mental performance coaching. We begin by identifying your strengths and limits under pressure, then move into education, skill development, and applied strategies — all tailored to your sport, level, and mindset.

After completing your initial program, we reassess where you are and customize the next phase of your training. These continuation programs typically run 2–4 months and evolve based on your needs and performance goals.

Over time, you’ll develop the mental tools to trust yourself in high-stakes moments, stay composed, focus effectively, adapt on the fly, and perform closer to your potential — more often.

Meet Kate Allgood – Your Coach and Guide

Former Mental Performance Coach for the AHL San Diego Gulls, working with top prospects of the NHL Anaheim Ducks organization.

With over 15 years of experience and dual Master’s degrees in General and Sport Psychology, Kate blends science-backed techniques with personalized strategies to help high performers sustain focus, build resilience, and perform at their best.

As a former college and professional hockey player—and an Olympic hopeful—Kate understands the unique mental challenges athletes and high performers face. She’s worked with a diverse range of clients, from professional athletes to elite military personnel, and is the Amazon bestselling author of Get Into the Zone and two other books on mental performance.

Kate's holistic approach is trusted by athletes and professionals alike. She has been featured in numerous media outlets and is known for her inspiring coaching, courses, and presentations.
