IS ONE-TO-ONE COACHING RIGHT FOR YOU?
You put time into developing your physical skills. Individual coaching gives you dedicated support to train the mental side of your performance—with an approach shaped around your experiences, goals and the demands of your sport.
You might be looking to:
Bring your practice performance into competition.
Stay focused when expectations and pressure rise.
Respond to mistakes without letting them take over.
Reduce the pull of overthinking and distractions.
Develop confidence and a stronger relationship with yourself.
Rebuild trust in your game after injury, setbacks or time away
Train more intentionally as you prepare for your next level.
You can begin because something feels difficult or because you want to develop further. The starting point is understanding where you are and what you want to train.
WHAT WILL YOU TRAIN IN COACHING?
What happens within you shapes how you compete. Coaching helps you understand your patterns and train the capacities that influence your preparation, participation and performance. The emphasis is tailored to you rather than following the same sequence for every athlete.
SELF-AWARENESS & SELF-TRUST
Recognize your patterns, needs and responses in sport. Build self-trust through how you prepare, keep commitments, make choices and stay with yourself through mistakes and difficulty.
PERSPECTIVE & RESPONSES
Explore how you interpret pressure, mistakes and uncertainty. Learn to recognize the stories and expectations influencing you, and practice choosing responses that support how you want to compete.
ATTENTION & FOCUS
Train your ability to notice where your attention goes, direct it toward what matters and return when you get pulled away. Practice staying engaged with the task as distractions, thoughts and expectations arise.
ENERGY & RECOVERY
Learn to recognize and regulate your physical activation, mental energy and emotions. Develop preparation and recovery practices, including ways to step away from performance demands and re-engage when it is time to train or compete.
IMAGERY & MENTAL REHEARSAL
Use guided mental rehearsal to practice skills, prepare for competitive situations and rehearse how you want to respond to challenges. Connect that rehearsal with your physical training and experiences in your sport.

HOW DOES ONE-TO-ONE COACHING WORK?
Coaching combines individual sessions with training you apply in your sport. We use your experiences to identify what matters, practice relevant skills and refine your approach as you develop.
PERSONALIZED SESSIONS
Sessions focus on your sport, goals and current experiences. We explore what is happening, train relevant mental skills and establish a clear focus to carry into practice and competition.
ASSESSMENT & TRAINING RESOURCES
Resources such as the TAIS assessment, The Athlete Within® journals and online platform help personalize and reinforce the training. Assessment insights support our understanding of your attention and performance patterns, while guided practices and reflection tools support application between sessions.
TRAINING BETWEEN SESSIONS
Mental training develops through repetition. Between sessions, you apply practices in your daily life and sport, observe what happens and reflect on what you’re learning. That experience informs our next session.
ONGOING GUIDANCE
We review your experiences, adjust the training and connect it to the demands of your season. Between-session support provides additional guidance within the scope of your selected program.
Assessment, resource access and support details are explained when we discuss your coaching program.
